Mazda rx7 FB 1982 need help

Hi

I have in restauration a rx7 1982, and I espect put a 12a bridgeport with a weber 48IDA. How much RWHP can em espect from this setup?

For the eshaust I will put a complet racing beat system, for transmition I have a Complete rear end from a GSL-SE with LSD, and to stop, 4 wheel brake discs from GSL-SE, and 4 pods calipers from a 91 turbo II.

I need all the help possible to do this, and how tune proplely.
I'm in Portugal, and hear don't existe any tuner with knowhow in wankel engines, because that, I have to do all the work alone in my garage, and learn everything in internet, with rx7 gurus, and studying.

In my other thread I ask for help with my 1991 turbo II.

Regards

Sounds like you have a cool project in the works. Although it also sounds like there is a lot of wrench turning before your ready to tune it. Not real sure what answers your looking for? As far as porting it sounds like porting templates are the way to go. I have ported heads before and it really is easy, you just cant get carried away. With the templates I would guess it will go smooth as silk. I am going to port my 12a so I will let you know how it goes, otherwise there are a lot of articles on this site about doing it. As far as tuning, correct me if I'm wrong but if you can tune a piston engine you should have no problem tuning a rotary. Air fuel mixture is very straight forward. Don't be scared just because the internals look different. Good Luck
