PA map sensor question?

hello guys i was wondering, my 86 runs when it wants to, i replaced the plugs, wires, CAS, and coils, but when it starts it will either run good or start stuttering like it needs spark but my spark is good, and when it does stutter if i stop sumtimes the car will die then it will sit for a week before it will start again? but when it stutters it dumps fuel in stupid amounts, i went to the mall, fine the whole way there, but when i got there it started acting up, so of course i didnt turn it off so it wouldnt sit there, and i gave it some gas trying to kick it out of its stutter lkie i used to but it didnt help so i had a 30 min drive home stuttering and it took 1/2 a tank to get home when it would normally take not even 1/8 tank? so could the map sensor be my problem or maybe something fuel wise like my injectors, etc.? please help its in the shop right now and i need to kno on account of part prices

I'm not sure I understood half of that, but you can start with checking for codes: http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/article...odes/main.html.

If you're running into serious hot-start problems and excessive fuel consumption, you may have an injector or two sticking open. Having the injectors cleaned wouldn't be a bad idea: http://www.witchhunter.com/
