main relay question

NY main relay question

so i bought an fc from a guy who took it apart and never got arounf to putting it back together... dont ask i bought it the car is an 86 zero rust bought and engine tranny etc, now the main relay got wet and i replaced as it was full of water i get no spark with the new one but when i opened it and pulse the relays it sparks what do i do about this also can someone explain "jumping" it please

What do you mean that you "pulsed the relays and it sparks. The relay coils are supplied voltage and ground by the two wire plug. The B/W wire should have voltage w/key to on. The Black wire is the ground. If either wire is problematic it could cause your problem.

The other plug has four wires. Bridging B/G to B/Y and White/Blue to B/W it will bypass the relay, but over time I suppose this would drain the battery.
