AB LSD or Torque type differential?

What do you like better for what situation?

Is a clutch type limited slip differential better for street and is a torque sensing better for auto cross?

What are your opinions?

Clutch type is great for high torque applications and drifting. Torque sensing typically can't handle as much power, but is great for autocross and other situations where an on and off clutch type diff isn't optimal. The miata LSD is a torque sensing one IIRC, and many people swap them in NA FC RX-7s since they don't make enough power to stress them.

Does the gear type only work when both wheels are on the ground?
