Lots of white smoke.. 86 turbo
Okay as the title says whenever i start my car tons of thick white smoke come out, it smells like gas not coolant. I filled up the coolant and started the car and there werent any bubbles, i also checked the dip stick and no coolant.... Anyone have an idea of whats goin on? The car was flooded from tue previous owner but i deflooded it and this happend. The car idels at 2k and tons of white gas smelling smoke comes out, it goes away when reving but returns after, the car also won't drive over 4k. There is also a little bit of smoke coming out of the engine, around the exhaust manifold...... Anyone please help. I'm at a loss and i just got the car.

Change your oil. After flooding, the oil becomes contaminated with fuel thus thinning out the oil and causing it to seep through the oil control rings. I had this happened to me. If you have smoke coming out the exhaust manifold, then you have an exhaust leak at the manifold. Replace the gasket and re-torque the bolts. In addition, when you change your oil it might take a few miles to burn the excess contaminated oil off. The 4k issue might be caused by bad grounds.
