welcome to the board.

how much is "a lot"?
do you premix? if so, with what and how much?

generally speaking, blue smoke sounds like it could possibly be your oil seals. monitor your oil consumption (i.e. log how many miles you go before you have to add a quart).

I had the same problem before
it was the Seal in the Turbo
cuz of it is oil pressure relief valve sticky
so result of oil pressure running too high
and ends up blow the seal in the Turbo

Has it been sitting for quite a while before you purchase it? The oil seal may be stuck due to engine not running, drive it for a while and see if the situation resolves, if not then you will want to check the compression and find out if a rebuild is necessary to replace the oil seals.
