Looking at importing this FD, please have a look
I'm considering negotiating on this 99 FD, its an RS model so has the Bilstein suspension, 17's and it also has the Bose stereo upgrade.
Its exactly what I'm looking for in terms of condition, totally stock body etc etc. and has 67k kms.

Is there anything in particular you guys think I should ask about the car apart from the obvious condition, service history, accident damage etc etc? I thought the Series 8 came with different material on the seats? I'd also like a compression test carried out high 8's are what I should be expecting yea?
Any help would be appreciated before I go ahead and wire $20000 to someone I've never met!
Thanks!

The car looks great. Nice, clean and unmolested.
Those are the typical items to inquire about. If they have compression test numbers on the engine, that would help you judge the health of the motor. They probably don't have them though so ask if there is any exhaust smoke while running and if it idles smoothly.
The 3rd gen FAQ thread has a few Buyer's Guides that you may have a look at but it assumes you are seeing the car in person.
