Looking to Get an RX-7
Hey guys,
I'm VERY new to RX-7's and Rotary's. I'm planning on looking at a few within the next few days. (FB & FC's).
Coming off Craigslist worries me a little bit, not to mention the fact that I have absolutely no clue what to look for in these vehicles.
Could you guys offer me some insight as far as what I'm looking for mechanically as well as aesthetically? (Other then the frame rail behind the seats. I did a little research!) I know a 20 year old vehicle can't be perfect... or can it?
Coming to this scene is something more than I could've ever imagined. I've been lurking the forums for about a day now and have figured some things out, but I still come across things that make me scratch my head.
Unfortunately, we all can't afford FD's! I'm trying to reduce my debt, not go deeper! So hopefully the RX-7 scene doesn't have as many folks looking down on members with previous generations as I've seen in my time in the F-Body scene. You wouldn't imagine the amount of people that looked down upon third-gens when compared to forth-gens. Oh well, I had both.
Thanks guys!
