Hey all, I've been doing my homework on the rotary engines and all, but I was just wondering if anyone could give me any pointers on what to look for when buying an RX7. I'm buying it from an import dealership here in Calgary, Alberta and I don't want to be buying a lemon! Also just wondering if there are any meets or anyone else from Calgary on here!

I live in Manitoba, but actually just bought an RX-7 from Calgary. When doing my research, I was mainly looking for cars with low KMs and the less mods, the better. Its up to you to make the final call, but for myself, I wanted a fresh start.

In my personal experience, I found that "Quality Cars Calgary" wasn't very knowledgeable about their cars. They couldn't answer any of my questions over the phone but you have the advantage of going to see them in person. They have a nice clean one there with only 66kms on the clock. I'd recommend checking that one out if you had some spare time. Let us know how it works out!

Thanks BrownBoy, I was actually looking at the cars at "Quality Cars Calgary." I saw the green one with 66km's looks pretty nice, I just haven't had the chance to get over there yet and give it a thorough look through! You're right tho, they aren't that knowledgeable! I asked a few questions, seeing if I could get pre-approved for financing and they didn't seem to understand!
