Looking for advice

Hi everyone
I am new here so please forgive me if I posted this in the wrong place
I have just purchased my first rx7 and have a small issue on the vehicle
When I accelerate the first turbo kicks in but as the vehicle gets to 5000 rpm it has a misfire (or at least that's what it feels like ) and the car hesitates then the boost comes in but not for long it comes in at about 5800 and then goes out again at about 6200 and the car battles to rev up I am still running the standard twin set up which I believe can be problematic the vehicle has done 92000 km
I don't know what I should be looking for or where to start your assistance in this regard will be greatly appreciated

start with checking vacum lines ,check valves ,check all intercooler hoses, change fuel filter, and then check plugs, wires, and coils, good luck

I agree with all the above, though it "sounds" more like a sequential system issue rather than an ignition (i.e. spark plugs, wires and coils) or a fuel issue.
The sequential system can be a little daunting. This might help.....
