I tried to post something similar in the introduce yourself thread but nothing showed so I am very sorry if this is a repost.

Anyways been looking for a first gen here in NoDak for quite some time. Found a 1979 w/ 155k miles. Car is said to be all original, spent most of it's life in Fl. Biggest concerns are oil leaks and finding a mechanic that is willing to work on the rotary here in Bismarck. Another snag is that he wants me to be 99% sure that I will purchase before he drags it back here 230 miles from the family farm. We talked price right away to avoid wasting each others time and agreed $1750. The car was sold on ebay with the buyer supposedly backing out. The link should still be viewable.
