Local Rotary Guru wanted
If you're looking for a shop, the closest I'm aware of is KD Rotary (http://www.kdrotary.com/) near Allentown.
Best to post this kind of question in the appropriate Regional Forum section, but try these guys. Don't know anything about them other than there is a rotary association:

At the time this was posted I was only allowed to post in the noob section.
Figured that. Anyway, my post was directed at the poster immediately above my post (and lurkers in general). He's probably in the same boat, however. That's why I posted a possible shop for him to check out.

yah I was in the same boat but thanks for the help. I will have to give them a call as I need someone that knows how to work on these beasts due to the fact that my best friend is a mechanic but does not know anything about rotaries. We are gonna have so much fun tearing this engine apart next year!!!!!!
Well, you might want to get one of the videos that detail rebuilding a rotary engine. There are several available. One is available from Mazdatrix.com and another by Bruce Turrentine from RotaryAviation.com. And there are others I'm sure.
Guys,
You don't need to be able to post in order to read existing threads.
If you go to the Regional section for your state, there is a sticky right at the top of the forum with a list of all rotary mechanics.
