Unhappy Leaking oil

I have an s5 N/A FC and I noticed today that there was oil dripping, the motor & trans are running perfect & strong since the engine only has 3k miles on rebuilt. But there's a small amount of oil leaking right now and I have no idea where it's coming from. Not sure if that's normal or not. But any help would be great. If pictures are needed I can do it asap.

Uh no, leaking oil is NOT normal. You're going to need to start searching for where it's coming from. Find the drip, and look up.

I checked again tonight and oil wasn't dripping anymore, I turned on the car, let it idle, checked again no oil was dripping, turned off the car, and there was no leakage. I'm going to check again tomorrow if any more is dripping because this is puzzling me.

I'd jack up the car and check the oil pan. The drain bolt and the pan. Pan mostly around the edges for a bad gasket. Next, check your oil filter. Could be leaking from the top and dripping down if it didn't make a proper seal.

Degrease the whole engine with something like Castrol Super Clean, then run the car and see if you can spot dripping.

Common areas:
-oil pan gasket
-o-rings under oil filter
-metering oil lines
-turbo oil drain (if TII)
-metering oil lines (where they rub the frame)

I'm thinking is the oil pan gasket now since the dripping is happening right below the oil pan, but I'll check other areas as well to see if that can also be the cause of the problem. Thanks for all the help!
