Cool lays to driver's side

I recently purchased an '83 7. I have noticed it does lay to the driver's side while sitting in the driveway. I did purchase a pair of new rear shocks (but haven't installed them yet) I ghope I bought the right make. What do you recommend. I have noticed that when I come to a stop, the idle sounds different then drops down to a nice quite idle. Is this sound normal? This is my first rotary. It runs great. This is my first communication with the club.

What kind of shocks did you get for it?

I would recommend checking out www.re-speed.com They sell only quality parts, have great prices, and world class customer service. They also have a forum where you can ask suspension type questions, and the owner will give you advice.

For the carb related question, that one might be tough to diagnose. I would recommend that you study up on the carb, then that will help you to help us diagnose it. You can find a whole library worth of information on the carb over at www.sterlingmetalworks.com

Good luck.

springs will usually make a car "lay" not the shocks.
the springs hold the weight of the car up while the shocks just dampen the movement of the springs.
