Last 3 of my VIN 003 ?
Original owners of a yellow 93 R1 with 29000 miles unmolested , slightly modified .My father bought the car new in Vegas baby . Had the car driven back to ILL. I was willed the car when my stepmother pasted away in 2013. I am a retired truck mech. and have been over this car a lot its like newish. Did I mention the last 3 Of the VIN is 003 what does all this mean I don't know maybe someone can tell me.

I dont know if the last 3 of the vin are of significance but the Yellow 93 is a special car. Yellow was only available in 93 and they are all R1 trim. You have 1 of 350 that were sold.

welcome to the forum. the last 6 digits of the vin is just the numerical sequence in which it was built.

dang it, I got a 1993 R1 and the color was NU or Vintage Red.... I guess there were thousand of NU cars for sale in 93 so there's nothing special there...

Sounds like an early production car. Send me your VIN number and I will run a build sheet for you. For reference, the FD began production in October 1991.
