NJ Just started modding

Now that I own one of these awesome cars it is time to start collecting goodies. So I have started with apexi exhaust but not sure what downpipe and midpipe I should purchase since i want to go single turbo rather than waste time with twin. Since I am looking at single setups I have accounted for a power fc commander but my concern is what turbo and injectors are reasonable for making 350 rwhp. My last question is what will a hks twin ignition setup do and can I use it with a power fc.

Any single turbo setup is going to require a custom downpipe and midpipe. Most of the single turbo kits come with a downpipe at least, so you'll just need to fabricate a mid pipe. Any exhaust shop can do the job. Make sure to use a high quality stainless packed resonator to keep noise under control.

you will need a standalone I recommend microtech an for the turbo if your on a tight budget like me I am working with a Borg Warner s366, if u have money to spend go with a Garrett gt40r or 42r an i would run rc injectors an look for a well know shop that deals with rx7s an look for a down pipe turbo manifold an full exhaust.

From: Smiths Falls.(near Ottawa!.Mapquest IT!)
FD..(please state your car's Year/series!)
The HKS is a good bolt on and safe HI power ignition system.(If you can run Separate coils I would look at the AEM coils.very good spark!)
Look into ID injectors and FFE fuel rails. You should also think about fuel delivery.(Pump).
Turbo?..depends on how much you want to put out.HP wise and monetarily.
Turblown has some great turbos..as well as ATP.
..
I'm an FC guy but the above mentioned is a safe suggestion without me getting Flamed!
Good Luck and Welcome to the Forum..leave your wallet at the door!
