jdm engine question

So I have an 86 n/a with a blown motor. I am really wanting to do a turbo ii engine swap. I have looked at jdm engines and have found some 13b turbos with the tranny, right hand drive ecu and wiring harness. Is there anything special that needs to be done to swap jdm engines over to the American rx7?

Here is a link of the engine : http://www.jdmenginedepot.com/jdm_engine_details/183/Mazda_13B_Turbo_Series_4_Turbo_II

See 2nd gen FAQ. Differences are minimal.

If you decide to get a JDM engine, send a private message to Japan2LA. He's a reputable engine importer on this forum. Most engine importing websites, like the one you posted, won't compression test their engines or provide any type of refund or warranty. (Especially for rotary engines.)

^ Same here...

I ordered my JDM engine years ago from some no name place that doesn't exist anymore. It was blown. If I would have been more patient and had the knowledge about Japan2LA, I wouldn't have gone through so much trouble. :-/ Lesson learned. I will most likely deal with Japan2LA in the future.
