You have spark, so it can be inferred that it is timed correctly. I'd check for fuel flow and adequate pressure next. It is anyone's guess when the fuel filter was replaced. Who knows, you might still have the original factory one . Pull the bottom hose off of it, put it in a 2-liter bottle and have a friend turn the key for a few seconds so you can see if anything comes out. Be sure to have a Jumper Wire connected to the Fuel Pump Test Connector.

If you now have fuel flow, the filter was the issue. If no fuel flow, the filter needed replaced anyway. Should that be the case, the next step is to pull the fuel pump and bench test it. Basically, you just feed it 12v and ground and see if it springs to life. Try it a few times, they sometimes get "sticky" after sitting.

Fuel Pump can be accessed from the hatch. Just flip up the hatch area carpet, then remove the 4 Phillips screws that secure the Access Panel where the pump wiring runs through. Under that is the pump assembly, held in place with 8 M4x0.7 phillips head screws (~15mm long). Fair warning, the hardware that hold the Fuel Pump assembly/Level Sender can be difficult to remove if it has not been replaced. Before you attempt to pull it, get a picture of the hardware so I can assess it. Depending on how bad things are, I have a few different approaches to remove them. Once they're out, replace them with Stainless Steel hex head bolts. You'll thank me if you ever have to get in there again.
