Issues with oil pressure under load!

Hi guys!

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I've newly bought a RX7 FD and there are some issues with oil pressure under load. The oil pressure is fine until 4000 rpms at 4 kg pressure, and when revving futher the oil pressure stops rising and even tends to drop a bit. I have a friend with plenty of experience on rotary engines looking at the car now, but he hasn't found the cause of the problem. He measured a oil pressure of 10 bar out of the engine and only 4 bar in to the engine. This should suggest that something external of the engine caused the problem, but that is not the case. The oil pressure even dropped when he bypassed the oilcoolers and hoses. The oil pump is a brand new Mazda Speed Racing pump. The oil pressure regulator is also new. My friend thought that it could be the oil pressure control valve, but because the oil pump is building up the oil pressure just fine he has basicly ruled that one out. He now thinks the problem is somewhere inside the engine, and has started to take the engine a part.

I was hoping that there is someone on this forum that maybe have a suggestion or two to what's causing this problem. I'll appreciate all help I can get. And sorry for any bad english is this post. Let me now if you need more details concerning the problem, and I'm gonna try my best to explain.
