ON Intermitent Wiper Problem

Good day everyone,

I checked the FAQ section and did not see a posting on this hence why i am posting the problem. However if I have missed the post my apologies. Essentially when I wiper system is working it only works on Lvl 1 (which I know to be a common issue) however that is when it works hehehe the system stops working for no particular reason regardless of outside temp or running temp.

When the failure takes place, the washer pump and wipers stop working...which can be an issue should it start raining and I don't have any wipers. Would anyone be able to tell me where I can conduct some basic tests to trace the issue down?

Appreciate all the assistance.

Its somewhere on this page. Icemark will also rebuild them for you.

Interestingly enough I was once employed by the maker of the relay that fails, albeit much later and in an entirely different division.

Edit: Found the exact page: http://www.mazdamark.com/DIY_wiper_repair.htm
