is there a fuse in the interior fuse box that has anything to do with the headlights? i have the headlight conversion no more motors and have a 40amp fuse in the headlight fuse under the hood and my headlights worked fine last night went back to the car to grab some tools and started it up because i love the way it sounds and my headlights wouldn't turn on. i checked all the fuses and i can't find the problem. ive also checked all my wires for a short circuit somewhere and didnt find anything. HELP i have a 93 fd
There might be. It is usually printed on the inside of the fuse box cover.
More likely, it could be one of the underhood relays. Check the one at the very front of the car - near the hood latch and also check the one just behind the battery.

Mind that I'm the owner of an 84 RX7. I had one that sat for 4-6 years doing nothing and one of the first things that was wrong was the head lights. The most simple procedure I did first was clean off all the electrical contacts.
It turned out that the dirty contacts on the headlights was preventing the normal beams and the dirty contacts on the switch in the steering column was preventing the high beams from working.
