What to look out for?

Hey guys, well im new to rotarys. Iv been drifting my Sr'd S13 for a while now but want something different. I have always loved Fc's, and now own one. Im going to go and buy a S5 13bt from a JDM Engine place near my house. We have bought many motors from them. I just never bought a rotary before. So my question is what should i look for the most when picking an engine? Little tips and tricks to find a good match. Thank you for your help guys i really appreciate it

Compression test.

Look through the exhaust ports and examine the apex seals to make sure they are not damaged. Check for rust from sitting.

Check engine oil for burning, coolant for rust.

Check the overall condition of the engine for things like missing parts, excessive rust, etc.

Check the turbo for front to back and side to side play.

Have the injectors professionally cleaned before installation.

There are special rotary compression testers, but with the standard tester your looking for 3 roughly equal pulses per rotor while turning the motor by hand at the crank.
