i have a 88 t2 in my gxl and the guy i bought it off of int=stalled front mount hks cold air manual boost controller and racing beat 3" down pipe apexi n1 3" out the back i was wondering what injectors should i upgrade to push more boost and is the stock n333 computer tunable or am i going to have to go aftermarket and if so witch system is the easiest to use/install

 

You'll only be be able to run about 12 PSI on the stock turbo. Beyond that the turbo is just pushing heat and wearing out.

720CC secondaries with an upgraded fuel pump will handle it. Get an RTek ECU.

 

who makes the r tek witch company and do i need a lab top also the secondary injectors are the top or bottom?

The secondary injectors are located on the lower intake manifold.

The Factory Service Manual can be found in the FAQ For FC thread. It contains all this information and more, and is an essential tool for any sort of service work that needs to be performed on these cars.

Additionally, the Haynes service manual for the 1986 thru 1991 RX-7 (both turbo and NA) can be found at most local auto parts stores or purchased from any good bookstore (ISBN number 1 56392 007 7). It is only about $25 and is a great quick reference for things like this. Not only does it contain most of the information in the FSM condensed into an easy to read format, but it includes full wiring diagrams as well.

These manuals will answer 99% of service related questions for the car and if you intend to do your own repair work, you will need at least one of them. Preferably both, since the FSM is a free download.

 

also i have a gigantic front mount and during the summer my car tends to heat up a bit doesnt over heat but gets hotter than normal running temp could this be a result of the front mount

 

Certainly, the FMIC will be an issue. What are you running for a fan? Is the undertray still on the car (as it should be)?

 

stock clutch fan it has a koyo aluminum radiator and no the tray is no where to be found i bought the car without one i take it

No I didn't rip it off but I'm not sure on how much boost yet I bought the car at 11 but I don't get down on it cause I don't know if its safe, what injectors it has or any of that. It is my daily driver I'm not wanting to do to much right now until I buy a transmition for my truck then it will get everything, I aquired a brand new t3 t4 from a buddy for free before I bought the car and I was thinking about that turbo, tubular manifold rtek 2.1 and right around 14 psi. oh external wastegated

 

An undertray will likely help that overheating situation. Without it, air is just being deflected by the front mount intercooler and doesn't reach the rad.
