The car has to have some sort of boost controller. Electronic or manual. You'll need to find it and learn how to make adjustments. 10 PSI should be stock boost on a FD (correct me if I'm wrong; not a 3rd gen expert), so even if the fuel system is stock, you'll be safely in the rich range if you keep it there. If I were you, I'd find out if the fuel system is modified or stock before raising it any higher than that. It's probably good for 12PSI, but don't guess.

The stock boost pattern on FDs is actually 10-8-10.
Below 3000rpm the first turbine gives you 10 psi alone, between 3000 rpm and 4500 rpm some of the exhaust flow from the first turbine is re-directed to the second (and bigger) turbine to give it some speed, the boost is then 8 psi. And above 4500 rpm all turbines are working are up to speed to give you 10 psi.
