I'm stumped

My vert is my daily and it runs smooth for the most part, it usually backfires a lot mainly because I have no exhaust restrictions, and a very slight misfire once or twice in a few weeks. All of the sudden it doesn't backfire anymore and hasn't misfired in a while. Is this something that is loose and wiggled itself back into place or maybe a part that finally went bad??

Typically, a problem that you have ignored magically going away is not a good sign.

I would check your valve timing or your flux capacitor. Jk on my fb it would shoot alot of flames when i had a few exhaust leaks, fixed em and it stoped. Idk

not sure if this counts as an actual problem since neither is necessarily a "normal" behavior. in essence your complaint is your car is acting the way it should.

the backfire (which I will assume is what you're referring the explosion/loud bang you sometimes get when you lift and dump fuel) can be excused since you mentioned that you have no pre-muffling.

with the misfire, however, you should have been worried when you had it, not now that it's gone. I guess maybe you might want to give your timing and ignition system a good once over. see if anything is amiss.
