Unhappy im sooo confused.

ok for starters. ita an 89 n/a gxl with 194000 miles its rough to say the least.

so i threw a fan belt at 140 (not a good idea) and burned up the housing seals. so im in the process of pulling the motor now. i have stripped it of all the intake,ac,power steering, etc. pulled the oil pan. pulled the starter. pulled three tranny bolts on top n two on the bottom. unbolted the engine mounts... what else do i have to do to get this damn thing to break loose of the tranny

If you are pulling the motor, it is generally easier to pull the motor and tranny together.

Question cleaning internals?

so basically the internals look like they r caked in carbon covered with rotted oil.... how the hell do i get it off of the rotor housings? the oil was easy. but what bout this carbon buildup. its like tryin to scrape asphault with a leaf rake. i swear there has to be an easier way.
