Question ignition switch wiring

i just recieved a 79 rx7 as a gift you could say, my boss was scrapping it. he lost the key 10 yrs ago and its been sitting since. the car is beng turned into an scca race car. i need to get rid of the ignition switch and put in a toggle for acc and a pusg button to start. but i have been looking for days for a wiring diagram and cant find it, someone please help

At the very top of this forum is a set of stickied threads. They are FAQ threads. Start there. There is a link to Factory Service Manuals in there.

Spend some time reading. Its more helpful than posting usually.

Firsttime I would take gracer7's advise and find out what you can about the wiring .. If you are going to run your machine with a toggle and a button without any knowledge of the system you will for sure need god on your side and then some.. These guys have helped me big time but they like us to do some looking on our own ,after you are here for a bit you will realize how much in demand there knowledge is ... ounce you have a bit of knowledge under your belt and have some questions you can't seem to figure out someone will help you without a doubt.. They know if you have been naughty or nice and weather you have been searching or not
