1985 GSL-SE was working great until I decided to swap out the radio. Next day the car started but the starter distinctly sounded different. Next morning starter would not even turn over, or even try. Battery is not drained so I thought it must be a fuse or even a fusable link, but they were all intact.

I do not know what to try next! The car will push start just fine, so I know the engine is OK. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Strange coincidence or what? I've never EVER heard of this one and I've been here for a while and working on SA/FB chassis even longer.

Let's see what the folk who work on these cars for a living can provide.
