ignition and a few more questions

Hi guys i just got my rallycar painted and are ready for assemble.
I still have a few questions for you guys since there are very very few 7S here in denmark.
I have a 13 B wITH nothing done but 48mm ida weber and a big exhaust and offcourse i removed all other things.
i have the ignitionboX that goes to the distrIbutor and with 2 coils. but ive seen people use 3 coils should i do that and why and offcourse how.
WITH A GOOD TUNING COULD I EXPECT 180 HP ORE?

also what rear axles are you guys running im using a volvo 740 rearaxle.
I was giving the understanding that only the 84-85 could withstand the stress from rallying and i cant get any off those axles in my area. AM i getting it all wrong ore...?

my car is a 79 i have put on 84 front struts and 40MM lowering kit but my ride height seems a little high. i run KYB shocks all arround.

i just bought the kyb shock because it seems the tokico illumina is for track use and i need somthing rally soft. IS that way off ore.


im sorry for newb questions but not many guys in denmark has race experience with theese cars and im danish så kind off hard searching the web for answers all the time.

sounds like you're looking to do the dual lead ignition modifications. here you go: First Gen Archives. this will probably be an important tool for you. it's catalogued by systems for ease of use. there are 3 varieties at my last count - the original Jeff20B DLIDFIS and then two modifications of that. depending on the parts you have available to you, it's your choice.

with some work on tuning your IDA and exhaust, you should be able to get some decent power from your 13B.

i never set up a rally car, so i'll defer your other questions to someone that has or knows what they're talking about.

thank you for that i did not know of the first gen archive. i still cant find the guides on the ignition thoug.

another question i just got my new oil cooler how much oil pressure does the engine need and is therE anything diffrens in fitting the cooler from a normal vehicle like should it be under/over the sump ore just fit it in front of the watercooler with the hooses going up?
