TX Idiot/Warning light problems?

Hey guys, i ran into this problem a few months ago.

First, the clock went on and off and reset itself almost everyday. I guessed it was just some problem with the clock itself. So, I picked out the idiot light cluster from a RX7 in the junkyard. Swaped it in and noticed the problem was different. What was actually happening was that the connector on the back was failing. If i twitched it, it would work and any little touch would make it flicker/go out. This happened with all the idiot lights, not only the clock.
So, I got some electrical connection cleaner and sprayed the shiz out of both the plug and connector. It worked fine for a few weeks then, it started again after I parked the car for a few days.
When I turned the key to ON, the lights wouldn't turn on like they usually do to test them. If the lights weren't so important, I would just leave the as is. BUT, supposedly, if the battery light doesn't complete its circuit, then the alternator doesn't charge. And my charge is stuck at 12v on my dash meter. I know if i turn on the lights or roll down the windows, it will drain the battery and I'll end up being stranded with no charge.

My question is, what can I do to fix the issue? I already tried wiggling the connector again, and no lights but the brake and seat belt light come on... and I know my alternator isn't charging because when the engine is running it stays at 12v... I believe its supposed to be at 14.3?

Just to note: my car it a '86 RX7 GXL
