I think my car is an X-MAN..lol
...ok so I posted here with an issue with my '88 N/A super flooding and causing it to have terrible starting problems...
then all of a sudden just this past week, after only adjusting the timing back a little and a drift session that only lated one set of tires, it starts right up and idles as good as it did when I bought it. Runs great, no smoke....AT ALL... not even a little..
How did my 7 fix itself?.. Be it far from me to look a gift horse in the mouth, but, I'm baffled...lol

Your timing change is the logical answer. But the CAS is also not supposed to be adjustable. If you retarded timing, you just made your car slower. CAS adjustments affect the entire RPM/LOAD range.
I think at some point I may have set the timing a little too far advanced...but it was forever ago... right now the bolt is just a hair passed halfway in the adjustment "slot"..
You should really get put the CAS back properly. As I said before, the CAS is not supposed to be adjusted, and you don't have much idea how many degrees it changes when you move it slightly.
