i need some help

so when i start my 88 RX7 SE it runs fine, iddles fine, but when i rev it up while still warming up, it blows white smoke. when its at at operating temp it does not smoke what could it be?? i know the exhaust is trash on the car now, could that be it???

White/blue smoke on startup is most likely oil seeping past the control rings and burning off. On higher mileage engines, this is common.

What does it smell like? Oil? Coolant? Raw gas? The answer will depend on that...

it actually smells like raw gas, it does not smell like oil burning. but the car does have high miles.. so i dont really know

im thinking rebuild

so im gettin that its normal for these cars to smoke with the mileage it has on it, im thinking ill drive it untill it pops, and from there rebuild time,thanks guys!!!
