Question I have an 89 S5 N/A, and a question.

Would the exhaust off of a 88 S4 turbo II fit on my car? Cuz i ran into a guy last night who had a 10th anniversary edition rx7 with the ls1 and t56 tranny swap in it. He said i could have his blown motor his good tranny and his exhaust all for free. Im like hell ya dude thats like treasure to me. So im wondering if i can take the aftermarket exhaust that was on his turbo II motor and put it on my S5 N/A.

Thnx, would appreciate any input.

It depends if it is stock or aftermarket. Most exhaust setups will be largely interchangeable after the header/downpipe. The main question you'll need to know is what diameter the exhaust is. Stock NA sizes are 2.25" from the exhaust manifold to the Y-pipe, then either 2 x 1.75" or 2 x 2" to the mufflers. But free is free, so take it and figure it out later.
