I found another problem!

Ok, the car is a 86 FC non turbo. The problem is: With the car running, if i turn the weel ALL THE WAY to one side or the other untell it stops. the car boggs down and dies if i dont let off a bit, no big deal i mean how often do you really need to turn the wheel that far? I suspect the power steering rack is bad maby the pump? but im not sure and every one i have talked to is cluless a few some of the mechanics i work with said they have not heard of that problem and suggested it might be a querk that 7's have with age.( i dont think so) but anything you guys can provide would be amazing. Thanks for your time
