HVAC controls

Hello All
i need some help please. can someone with a functioning hvac control in an fc do me a huge favor? Can you disconnect your ECM and tell me if that makes the fan controls inoperable as in dead/unplugged/unresponsive?
I can get a new OEM control from Mazda in ca but its $585.00
My car was stripped and the ecm is gone and ive tried 3 fan controls all the same- dead. I have a standalone ls1 computer etc but no rx7 computer. I have power to the controls and power to the relays on the hvac box. I have nothing going out to all the relays and stepper motors to deflect air to face feet def etc and no blower control either. I hit the blower with 12v and it runs great Either all 3 of the controls i get are junk which is a very real probability or the wiring requires ecm interface. it anit the 585.00 its wasting 585.00
I know its a big ask but it will be GREATLY appreciated
thanks!

welcome to the board.

do you have a copy of the FSM? if not, you can get one at Foxed.ca you should be able to get a pinout of the ECU in it.

my guess is HVAC controls are not tied into it though. you might be looking at a bad or missing ground somewhere.

also, what about the fuse? https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...ontrol-918929/
