How difficult is it to swap out single piston brake calipers for 4's? Front only
I am wondering how much work or how much of a pain in the *** (if at all) is it to put 4-piston (turbo II) brake calipers on a 1991 coupe which came stock with single pistons. Do you need a bigger brake rotor to accommodate the larger brake pads? I am only interested in swapping out the front brakes and leaving the single piston calipers in the rear, thank you for your help!
yes it's a five bolt, 91 coupe
how do you know if the rotor is applicable with 4 piston calipers?? would these slotted stoptech rotors work with 4 piston calipers? http://www.corksport.com/stoptech-rx...nt-5-bolt.html
and for pads on 4 piston factory calipers would you just ask for turbo II pads?

At the auto parts store, get the rotors with the pads. The pads are the same for any 4 piston calipers as are the rotors.
Those Stop-Tech rotors would work fine.
