How to change glovebox lock cylinder in RX7 FD

I have a 1994 RX7 FD and need to move the lock cylinder in the glovebox lock to a replacement lock assembly. The latch handle broke so I bought a new lock assembly which I now need to move the lock cylinder into. But I don’t see how the lock cylinder is held in the lock assembly so I have been unable to get the old lock cylinder out of the old lock so I can install the lock cylinder into the new lock assembly. Any help is appreciated!

I figured it out and will post info in case it helps someone else. First remove the lock assembly from the glovebox - there are three phillips head screws you can access through an open glovebox to do that. If glovebox is not able to be opened there are good youtube videos on how to open a locked glovebox. Very easy to do. Once you have the assembly which consists of the handle to open the glovebox and the lock cylinder remove the white part from the back by prying at the plastic "arms" that hold the white plastic piece onto the latch assembly. Remove that piece and set aside. Next pull off the trim piece around where you insert the key. that is easily done with a small screwdriver by prying under the little plastic "arms" that hold the trip piece. Then look down inside there the lock cylinder is now easily seen (that view was blocked by the white plastic piece) and press the little brass piece. Then insert the key and use it to slide out the lock cylinder. Then place the lock cylinder into the new assembly.
