horsepower '88vert??

I have already installed an aftermarket air intake, pulleys,spakplugs/wires and exhaust. What are the most cost efficient ways to produce more horsepower w/o sacrificing a/c or power steering??

you have to make the decisions on cost and what you think is worth it. however, after you exhaust bolt-ons, your choices are:

without removing the engine: piggyback-type electronics, forced induction, EMS

removing the engine: streetport, engine swap

Verts are heavy... lightening the car as much as possible will make it quicker.

Getting a piggy back engine management system for cheap and having it tuned at a good shop will probably be the most bang for your buck. You get at least 20% more HP. Of course it still isn't cheap, but definitely cheaper than a swap.
