Hole...

Ok so through my father's work, I was able to get bucket seats.
I was going to take out my passenger seat so that I could see what needs to be done to fit them in my 1987 Rx-7.
I noticed that there was a nice amount of rust on one of the bolts.
The seat was always wiggly but thought that that was cause by a loose bolt and never really bothered with it till now...
It was wiggly due to the fact that the floor panel was rusted.
ALL THE WAY THROUGH.
You can see the ground if you push the seat forward...
Now my question is, what are my options to fix this?
I don't really like the fact that there is a hole in my car, and I'd like to have two seats in there since I'm not making this a drifter.
I'll post pics if it'll help, I just wasn't able to grab any cause of the fact that when I noticed this, it was already beginning to get dark.
Is there a way to weld a panel to the place and actually make it safe for me to bolt seats on to it? If you can tip in into this matter that'd be great!
Thanks in advance

Been there, done that. Cut the rusted metal out and weld in a replacement plate.
