Here's a good Noob Question!

OK, so all the stuff for my first project on my rx7 showed up. 4 new belts, water pump and gasket, thermostat and gasket for some reson the cant 'find' my plugs and wires.... so im going to do the other stuff for now and do the plugs and wires later. Here is my question, when doing a water pump i like to flush the system out BEFOR removing the old pump, i have always done this with one of those little Tee's you can get from the autoparts store in the heater core line and a slow trickle from a garden hose for a few min. Then i remove the water pump and so on. from what i can tell, this shouldnt hurt my rotarys collent system so long as i dont crank up the water psi, i know house hold pipes can hit 40psi wich will blow the be-jesus out of the colling system. just looking for feed back as i do not have 'proper' flush equipment yet still would like to do it semi-right Thanks

You're fine flushing it out with the garden hose and the T. Don't worry about pressure because the system won't actually build much. After all, the coolant drain is left open during the flush...
