I got mine from Maryland for about $750. As described to me when I was shopping around, a company posts your job to a job board with a price. Companies/drivers pick jobs from the board when they're putting a route together. You never know who will end up delivering the car or for what price. I'm just explaining how calling a certain company may not get you the best price.
The other cheaper way is to choose a shipping company that has a depot yard where they hold cars that are going to be shipped. That gets the cars out of your way as soon as you drop it off at the yard. If the buyer picks it up from the yard in the destination area, it's even cheaper.

okay thanks RX, I am so sick of this I will never deal with shipping out a car ever again, all of these places give me different prices and your right it doesn't matter what they tell you because its what the driver wants for the route and whatnot. the only thing I am unsure of is who to trust as I had at least 15 calls from different places today and some of them tell me oh this place is lying to you we know about them blah blah. so its hard to decide honestly.
Hopefully the place i choose does it for really cheap so that i can buy my FC i was using the money that was left over from shipping them to purchase a FC in Atlantic city, but by the looks of it i won't even have enough so ill end up scraping some stuff at the pawn shop or something. smh.

There's an online organization called uShip that you can deal with. They are an aggregator for independent shippers. I've used them before and I've also offered to carry things for people. It has worked ok for me.
