Hi, i am new to this forum and i have been gifted a 13b injection engine. I know this is a noob question but i have to get started somewhere. i was wondering what car this engine came from? the guy that gave it to me was building a buggy so he had no idea what car it came from.. Thanks in advance for the info.

PS: the guy said that he thinks its from 1994

 

If its a 13b rotary engine and a 94 its from the FD chassis (3rd gen Mazda RX7) here in which you are on the forum. Welcome

 

take a pic and post it.

 

If the intake manifold says "13B Injection", it's an S4 or S5 NA engine ('86-91).

hey thanks for the replys.. it does say 13b injection on the mani.. so i guess its older then i thought.. ill take a pic and post it up as soon as it stops snowing here in utah so i can be sure about it.. i really hoped it was for an FD :/
