help over heating

hey

my 90 vert is over heating. i went to put a new thermostat on it and you know what???? there wasnt one on it to begin with. before i let my friend drive flo (dats my rx7's name) she was doing OK sort of. she has 112,000 miles on here and she a na. i bought her last December fo a G (1,000) cuz the guy didnt know what was wrong with her. Said she'll crank sometimes and sometimes wouldn't. She was flooded and the spark plugs were in backwards. If anyone knows any thing (and I sure someone does) let me know. Or I'll just take it to mazda...whatever comes first.

No thermostat...Don't you just love hack job mechanics? I assume you have since put a thermostat in, because without one, the car will overheat.

This page will help you troubleshoot the cooling system: http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/cooling.htm
