So today i managed to get an outside recording of the rx7 making the ofd sound i posted about a whike back. Can anyone help me determine what it is?
Its coming from around the shifter area, tans mount is new.

I assume the loud clacking is the sound you are referring to. If it's coming from near the shifter there's a good chance your driveshaft front u-joint is toast.

Impossible to be sure without seeing in person but it's a good place to start looking.
