Help with my FC please

hey guys this is my first time posting on here so here we go.

i have a 1986 FC3s NA and i blew a coolant seal in the motor when i irst got it. well a little while ago i got another motor from some guy on craigslist the car had been sitting for a while and i got it for $150 im not to worried if it is broken. but i am curious as to what happened. when i fire it up it idles fine but its pissing out white smoke. like a solid smoke screen. and when i look under the car there is oil in the exhaust, not a couple of drops but a puddle. any ideas as to what happened? im guessing oil control rings but i want another opinion.

thanks in advance!

Usually oil smoke is blue, but enough oil makes a white cloud.

How long has it been running? It could have been stored with fogging oil, which will cause it to smoke for quite a while.

it does turn into a giant white cloud and it does look like a light blue.

however there is a massive pool of oil under my exhaust and i can see where the oil is coming from my exhaust.

and it runs really well but when it starts up the rpms go to 3K to 4500 and it will die after 15 seconds or if i touch the gas pedal.

It sounds as though the oil o-rings are toast. Pull the spark plugs and check for oil.

Yea mine did that for a while. I never fixed it yet but I will be putting a new motor in soon since it sat for too long.
