Help with identifying

I am purchasing a 88 rx7 tomorrow and was looking for some advice on what to look for, as in bad spots on the car or known problems. I was also wondering how to tell if the car has the better suspension. He said it was an 88 rx-7 glx that is naturally aspirated but it came with the turbo II suspension because it is a glx. I'm not to smart on these cars and I need to know how to tell which suspension it has. Thanks for any help or advice it is all welcome!!!

I'm a 3rd gen owner so can't help much.

That said, read the 2nd gen FAQ as I'm sure answers to your questions willbe there.

GXL is the luxury model and had the AAS, auto adjusting suspension, which had 2 modes: regular and a stiffer sport mode. In mine I couldn't tell much of a difference. Just gimmicery IMHO. The struts can be replaced with regular ones if replacement is needed. Since it is not a turbo, just evaluate it as a basic rotary. You should find some buying/checkout advice in the archives or in searches.

Edit:
Didn't catch that "tomorrow" part until after I posted.
