Hi im not exactly sure on how to ask this but the lighting on my gsl se is very dimm its hard to see the cluster lights and the ones for the ac...i honestly rather replace all the interior lights.
What are the bulb sizes i need ?? Or bulb numbers? And how many of each. I wanna replace all the interior bulbs.
I wanted to go with the LEDs but you guys know more about this then i do lol

Not sure about an 83, but I've replaced most of the interior lights in my 85 gsl with LEDs.
In the 84/85 FB, the cluster lights are different from climate control lights. When doing LED replacement you'll also need to consider directionality of the LEDs--for many of the smaller bulbs, the light is emitted in one direction, while the stock incandescents emit light in all directions. The result can be that in some replacements the LEDs will actually be dimmer than incandescents.
Check the factory manual for the bulb types in each location you'd like to replace; this should allow you to identify base type, overall dimensions and electrical characteristics.
There are a number of places to get automotive LEDs online; google is your friend there.
Be aware that some circuits won't function as expected with LEDs, turn signals in particular given the relay in the circuit. LEDs also don't dim linearly; for instance, I initially tried LEDs in the ac/heater unit that that light up the buttons. However they dim when the headlights are on, and the voltage drop is enough to keep the LEDs dark--so when it's dark and I drive with the headlights on I had a hard time seeing the buttons. Solution: Back to incandescents.
YMMV

You can download the manual for free here.
Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals
Try here for bulbs.
https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/...acement-bulbs/
I can look to see what I used.
