light between headlight n blinker doesnt work.

hello,
idk the proper name for that light, but you guys know what i mean im sure. the one most people remove for cooler air.
anyways, my left one recently stopped working. to fix it, would i have to change that whole assembly behind the lense, or is there a removable bulb inside?
how do i access the inside of that thing?

pics or links would be of great help. or part numbers for the bulb if its swappable.
sorry if its been discussed, i did a quick search..
thanks in advance,
carrington

It's called a flash to pass light. On Japanese spec cars it is a bulb.

On JDM it's DTRL I believe. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say it's the same wedge base as a 194, but the larger, higher wattage version? Somebody correct me, I'm probably wrong. The bulb number escapes me ATM.

well, as far as that light bulb goes for anyone wondering- 12v 5w. idk what kinda measurements/ part number parts they use to identify the base, but you should be able to eyeball it cause theres a lil room for error. just use your old one for reference. findable in the headlight/car bulb section of your local Autobacs equivalent(so autozone/o reillys id imagine)

Fortunately in the US, it isn't a separate bulb. The highbeams just shine through a clear plastic lens.

Sometimes I wish I had stock bumper /headlight combo just to run those lenses and a few choices on lips . They call them city lights if I'm not mistaken .
