Need a little more information to troubleshoot further, what was the car doing and what sounds would it make when you tried to start it/ how did it act? how did it drive before the car stalled?

I had a problem with my 89 gxl starting, i would have to try a few times to start it (it wouldnt crank) and found out, the wiring from the battery and alternator were corroded and it did in fact die and ran kinda crappy. As for the clicking, do you have any clue where it may have been coming from?

Im an electrician and have worked on cars most my life, iam quite new to the rotary engine as well so i have limited knowledge (but im learning) about the rotary.

Check out AtkinsRotary.com or RacingBeat.com for a rebuild kit. You might want to purchase a video that walks you through the rebuild process. Atkins has one as does Mazdatrix.com.

You need to put more thought into what you use for a title if you actually want help.

If your engine is blown, go to the Canadian section and read the sticky with Canadian shops
