HELP! 91 JDM turbo swap!!

Hey forum! I need major help! I just bought a 1991 RX-7 FC that has a JDM S5 turbo swap bolted in an I'm panicking right now because I think the electrical is on the wrong side... I'm not sure, I might be just lost, I just though a jdm is rhd, the wiring comes through the passenger side, which is our driver side, is this true? Am I in trouble? Or am I just mistaken? Can someone please give me some direction?

The side the wheel is on has nothing to do with the engine itself. If someone put a Jspec engine in a North American-spec LHD chassis, the Japanese harness was likely not used. The engine management harness from a RHD chassis would be too short anyway.

If the car runs fine, there's no need to panic about things like this. What I would suggest is going over the swap thoroughly to know what exactly was changed. If the car was turbo already, the list will be very short. If it was an NA, the list will be considerable longer and could involve several wiring choices. See the 2nd gen FAQ and/or the link in my sig. for details.

Or even just wiring specs would help me, I just have no direction right now with that, that's all I'm stumped on is getting the wiring harness to the interior

Wrap the Connectors up on the short side with some tape.( big *** grommet and then a bit of harness).
shove that short run of harness into the HOLE on the Passenger side firewall, and into the car.It should be fully reachable if you grab it under the dash. That section will go to ECU and some connectors on your Passenger Kick panel.
